The Spring Operated Impact Hammer simulates mechanical impact to the surface of the enclosures of electrical appliances components. 

A compressed spring accelerates a hammerhead to hit the sample undergoing testing. The spring is released a lock mechanism by pressing a conical top of the hammer against the sample.
